Invention

So i have this idea about a security invention that i know would be great at lowes. The problem is that while i can't seem to find my exact idea there are a couple other ideas that are similar to mine that would also work. Also just because i couldn't find it doesn't mean that its not out there. And while the product is way simple and easy to use and make, i have no idea how i would even begin to sell the idea. Would i go to the lowes corporate office and try to sell them, try to have an already established company buy the idea from me and do royalty fees, i have no idea. Still i'll keep looking around to see if my idea exist else where and if it doesn't maybe then i'll take it to the next step.

Birthday gift

so I got a brown, classic cut leather coat this saturday for my birthday present, and it looks really good. Today is the first day that i have worn it out of the house to the school and it also happens to be the first day where it was warm enough to not wrap my scarf around my head and be able to look up and around at who was at the stop with me. i never relized how many other people were wearing leather clothes of somekind or another. Probaly one out of five people, so 20 out of the 100 or so people on the platform had on a leather coat. It made me feel a little less special and kinda like one of the socitial sheep. Which for those of you who know me, know that i don't mind following along the main path with the other sheep, but i hate to be in the middle of them doing exactly what they are doing. So for me this was kind of a sad relization. But the one things that made it better was that out of those 100 people only 2 had a brown coat like mine and I was one of those two.

It's like this every half semester when the big tests come up and even if i'v been paying attention and keeping good notes and doing the reading, i always end up rereading half the material again and streesing out and trying to lock myself in the office to cram in as many study hours as possible. Usually i do fairly well, but i wonder if the grades are worth the headache and stress.

laptop update

So last night i packed up my laptop and sent it off to get repaired and had becca mail it off today. i have to admit that a couple of times i have had to stop and take some deep breaths. Mostly because the timing is way bad, i have all these midterms and projects that require software that is on my laptop and now i have to try and scrounge it all together and do what i can with it. i'm hoping that i will get it back by the end of this next week or prefferably the middle. So thats it for now but hopefully i'll be whole again and i'll start posting more often again.
