The Life and Times of Alann

I have no title for this page because i don't know what i would call it. Also i need to be as careful as i can about this subject because i don't want to hurt my wife's feelings and i don't want her to think i am picking on her. I find that I don't always enjoy viewing her site and I will say why. While i have never quoted her, said she does this or that or brought into my blog anything about our personal life together, I have found that this is not always the case with her.

Now that I've said that let me say that i really enjoy reading about her opinion of what goes on in our life together and it is nice to have the insight into her thoughts on the many different subjects we deal with togeather. Also she has the right, and i completely support her right to use her freedom of speech. But on occasion i have found that she expresses ideas, opinions or actions that she says are mine that i do not believe to be true or that i feel that i need to defend against. I feel that some of the stuff she puts in doesn't need to be specifically aimed at me, she could just as easily use a grouping pronoun like "we". This would make the text less attacking while still getting the message across and then does not say that it is my idea specifically when it may in fact not be, but is an idea she thinks i have.

I have thought about posting a response every time but then its like having a public argument permanently online for everyone to see or it makes me feel whiny. So for the most part i just don't say any thing and life goes on just fine. So what i am really doing here is creating a rebuttal to some of her blogs and saying just because you read it on Becca's blog doesn't mean it's true. Not that you can come to my blog and find the "truth", because I (so far) don't talk about our family life, only about my own insights on life. So if you want to get snap shots of our life you really do have to go to her site, just remember I don't write the parts about me so take those parts with a grain of salt.

So, things have not slowed down yet for school. The best thing that has happened is that i changed my evening work study job into a morning job so i now have a few more study hours in the week. But, be that as it may, i still am way too far behind in my school projects to stop and smell (or blog) the roses just yet. That is going to have to wait until next week when midterms are over and i am in spring break. So until then i leave you with these words of wisdom. Never put a banana in your back pocket before getting into a car. Have a good week!

So some of you are probably wondering why I haven't been posting more often now that my laptop is back. Well the answer is simple, life if busy. Don't believe me ask my wife. I told her last night that for the rest of this week i would be home late from school and that for the next week i will have to dedicate alot of our family time over to study time for some big projects. So while i would love to write ling blogs everyday, i think i will only be able to do short ones everynow and again while i take a quick break from my homework and projects. But i promise to try and make my little blogs as interesting as i can.

So the good news is that midterms are over and I feel like I did a good job on them. Though the law test was something else, I studied for 2.5 hours straight till it felt like there was literally no more physical room for the information i was trying to study, then for the essay part of the test we are suppose to write down as much of the legal principles that we can that pertain to the case even if they don't lead to a winning argument. It honestly felt like turning on the spigot and letting the information flow out till I felt empty. It was such a weird feeling to be so quickly and totally drain of all knowledge on a subject that I couldn’t even think afterwards.
The better news is that it is starting to feel like spring and I got my laptop back and it is working just fine. So know I can start keeping my school work on it again and hopefully start blogging on a regular basis. I would love to write more but right now I’m at work so I need to get off so see ya folks soon.
